I'm trying to access the Lancaster University webite (lancaster.ac.uk) from inside my pfSense network. I have a Virgin Media Superhub in modem mode going into my pfSense box running pfBlockerNG and Snort (both not doing anything strange). This website works from a mobile phone but not from desktops (I can ping the website from all devices and the pfSense box). Using a VPN extension fixes the issue.

I am also trying to use chrome remote desktop to somewhere about 200 miles away and it's timing out every time. It works testing locally with either device on a mobile data hotspot.

      Thanks in advance, Jon

That site works fine for me.

PfSense running on Qotom mini PC
i5 CPU, 4 GB memory, 32 GB SSD & 4 Intel Gb Ethernet ports.
        UniFi AC-Lite access point

        I haven't lost my mind. It's around here...somewhere...

          Is Snort showing any alerts/blocks?

Pre-2.7.2/23.09: Only install packages for your version, or risk breaking it. Select your branch in System/Update/Update Settings.
When upgrading, allow 10-15 minutes to restart, or more depending on packages and device speed.
