I've been enjoying my SG-2440 for a few years and yesterday I came home to a dark firewall. After rebooting and resetting the NVRAM, I still have no joy. I get the red status light, and then after a while it just turns off.
Any suggestions as to what I try next?

Or is it just plain cooked..

I had a power outage last night and now I'm getting the same situation with my SG-2440. I power it on and it shuts off after about 2 minutes. Were you able to come across any solutions or is it toast?

              Anyway to retrieve settings?

Unfortunately it's very unlikely you will be able to retrieve any data from the eMMC if the board has failed.
