I'm having trouble with my Postfix configuration.

I want to remove the "reject_unknown_client_hostname" from main.cf

      • I stop the service
      • I edit the file under /urs/pbi/postfix-amd64/etc/postfix/main.cf  and remove the line
      • Save
      • Restart the service

No errors, everything works. If I check back later (can be 15 mins, can be 2 hours), the line is back and we are back to having 70% of (legit) mails blocked. It seems to stick for the first 30 mins most of the time.

      What am I missing?
Is there a value somewhere in the GUI that overwrites this? So a cron job restores this value or something in that nature?

Messing with files manually is competely useless. The ENTIRE file will get overwritten with GUI configuration.

How do I remove it checking RDNS / unknown domains, since there is no GUI option for it?

Patch the source code if things are not configurable via the GUI, Luke…
