@ongkyoktafian
Yes, when will you be online? -
@DaddyGo said in Pfsense 2.4.4-p3 Download:
there is no need to upgrade to 2.4.5 yet
Nonsense.. Plain and simple... For starters 2.4.4 is only using 11.2 freebsd which was end of support oct 31, 2019.
Plus all of the security updates...
There are reasons why you might push off the update, but there is NEED..

we think as, he only want it for testing purposes.....
he did not actually reveal what he would use it forhope not in a important installation
-
If I was going to be testing something - I would want to be on current vs old.. Maybe whatever it is he is testing doesn't work in new, or XYZ changed how it works, etc. etc..
Also the other thing that blows my skirt up ;) How come you don't have install media of the current version your running, etc.. I have copies going back pretty far, at one point had going all the way back to 1.0.1 But awhile back I said why and the F would I ever need these and cleared up some space ;) But I do have going back to 2.3 line.. I blew everything before that away.
Especially when running community version of any software, you can never be sure when those could go offline... Or since its your internet connection devices software - if that blows up and you need to reinstall.. How and the hell you going to even download anything.. </rant> ;)
