SG-5100 jumbo frame support

I'm about to move to 10Gbase-T at home for video editing and vmware volumes via NAS.

I know the SG-3100 Maxwell switch doesn't support 9k jumbo but does the SG-5100?

The ports in the SG-5100 are not switched, they are Intel (2x Intel i210, 4x from the SoC). I'm not aware of any issues with them and jumbo frames.

@jimp The Marvell chipset on the SG-3100 supports jumbo but not 9k MTU so it "technically" is jumbo (greater than 1500 MTU) but not 9k frames. Saying "it supports jumbo" is incomplete. The max MTU is the real question.

I get your point but as I mentioned the SG-5100 uses Intel NICs, and you can look up the specs for those quite easily to confirm they can do what you want. If you want to be more precise, here is what they probe as:
