Issue in Virtual box installation
-
pfSense-CE-2.4.5-RELEASE-p1-amd64 is installed in VirtualBox Version 5.1.10 r112026 (Qt5.6.2), but no reachability of LAN and WAN interface from the machine in which installed.

@renjithb
Anybody please support ! Any body successfully installed the same in Virtual box ? -
I haven't installed pfSense in VB, but one thing I do know is you have to configure the network adapters for bridge mode, rather than NAT. Have you done that?

Hello:
Maybe it's a typo, but, if not, why are you using such an outdated version of VirtualBox? Not trying to start a war, just curious.
Note: VB 5.1.10 was released on November 21, 2016 and that branch is no longer supported. Current version of VB is 6.1.10 released on June 5, 2020. (hence maybe a typo).

I typo with the exact build number? Seems unlikely
Suggest you run current version of VB.. Especially if you want to run a guest OS that came out what like 3 years later than the vb version your running.. pfsense 2.4.5 runs on freebsd 11.3.. There could be many an issue with such an old version of VB..

Also, it would be nice if the OP provided some info on his problems. My crystal ball doesn't work well (made by TP-Link ).

@pfSense4ME Virtual box updated to Version 6.1.10 r138449 (Qt5.6.2), still no reachablility to both LAN and WAN interfaces.
The host on which Virtual box installed is reachable from pfsense shell prompt. -
@johnpoz Virtual box updated to Version 6.1.10 r138449 (Qt5.6.2), still no reachability.
