Slower uploads speeds on internal systems

I have a pfsense box behind an ISP router. This is necessary because the ISP router is the only thing that can authenticate to the ISP to get a WAN IP.

Rough drawing of how this looks:

ISP link --> ISP router --> pfSense WAN --> pfSense LAN --> Network

I have been having issues recently with upload speeds from my LAN interface on the Pfsense box. All of my internal systems are only able to get ~60Mbps. There is no traffic shaping going on and I have tested on the pfSense box itself and it is getting ~200Mbps (What i should be getting).

Tested this on multiple different internal systems and all get roughly the same speed. I have turned off hardware checksum offloading to no avail.

I did notice that my LAN port has quite a bit of packet loss.

@lastb0isct Packet loss on lan is unacceptable.
Check cables and duplex settings on switches

And do describe your hardware, btw

@netblues Thanks for the quick response.

I have checked duplex settings and nothing different there. Just swapped the LAN cable and no change there (I also swapped the WAN cable today too which made no difference).

I'm running a Intel(R) Celeron(R) CPU J1900 @ 1.99GHz with a dual port 1GbE Intel card attached in the back. The switch that it is connecting to on the LAN side is a Mikrotik and this has never been a problem before recently.

Another thing to note: I just tested uploading directly to google drive instead of using Speedtest and was getting ~150Mbps from the same system...I wonder if something is blocking certain packets? I have no traffic shaping as I said earlier.

EDIT: I am still getting errors when doing the upload, but the speed is dramatically higher.

I think i have narrowed it down. Your questions about my hardware made me look into my switch a bit more. It is "passively" cooled but as it is in a cabinet it seems it isn't getting enouch airflow. I turned it off for a period of time and back on and i'm getting good speeds with no packet drops.

I have already ordered a fan that i can put inside. Thanks for all the help!
