      Has anybody upgraded the memory in their xg-7100? I know you can order it with an extra ddr4 16gb. Any idea on the specs of what would work?

        The SODIMM we fit is:

        DDR4 PC4-19200
        CL=17
        Dual Ranked
        x8 Based
        Unbuffered
        NON-ECC
        2400 MT/S
        1.2 V

          @stephenw10 Not to revive a year old topic, but I didn't want to open a new one just for a hopefully quick answer.

          I'm looking to upgrade memory to max out my XG_7100 1U. I've identified which brand DDR4 PC4-19200 non-ECC memory and I've seen you post in other topics about using 4, 8, or 16 GB modules.

          What is the max configuration we can use? Is using 2x 16GB for a total of 32GB not possible? I've seen the specs for the 7100 on the sales page list a max of 24GB. Thanks

            No 32GB is not possible. There is 8GB on-board and 1 DIMM slot that can take a 16GB module.

              @stephenw10 Got it, didn't realize the other capacity was on-board. Thanks!
