Yes, it's called "DNS". It's built in and you can add your own items.

PfSense running on Qotom mini PC
i5 CPU, 4 GB memory, 32 GB SSD & 4 Intel Gb Ethernet ports.
      UniFi AC-Lite access point

      I haven't lost my mind. It's around here...somewhere...

        thanks! I know that XD
Domain Name Service is quite well known!
my point is how and where do I add my website?
I was thinking on the DNS resolver service as an override but I cannot get it to work...

          @x007alfa

You add it in Host Overides on the resolver or forwarder page, depending on which you're using. Resolver is default, IIRC.

@JKnott said in HTTPS translation to IP:

            IIRC

Ok so what do I insert in each field for a website address formed like this? https://www.website.it
Honestly I can't figure out what to write...
I thought host would be website and domain would be it but it's not working...
I tried a few other combinations but it's honestly not clear...

              www would be the host
and website.it would be the domain

              When looking at a fqdn

              host.domain.tld

if they have more dots then it would be
              host.subdomain.domain.tld
              or
              host.subdomain.subdomain.domain.tld

You would always just put the host part in host, and any domain or sub in the domain section. If you have just single label like website.it then website would be the host and .it would be the domain.

Left most is always the host, the rest is domain section.
