PfSense 2.4.5-p1 memstick installation BUG
-
I'm facing a weird problem with pfSense 2.4.5-p1 installation.
I did the usual thing of downloading pfSense image, verifying it (checksum), writing to usb via etcher or dd command (tried both) and than booting the relevant machine from this usb.
Btw, Windows10 install via bootable usb works just fine.
But no matter what I do, it's always stops at this point (shown in the picture below):
Upload via this forum failed 5 times so here's the link :) - https://imgur.com/tl4hiaFEdit: I used the 2.4.5 img and it worked fine. I think there's a bug there...perhaps, not 100% sure. Btw, if it even matters, I downloaded the file from the Frankfurt mirror.
Thank you,

@techtester-m All I can say is are you sure you downloaded the correct image ... I recently download and used Belena Etcher albeit on my MacBook Pro to make a bootable USB to install on a friend's Lenovo ... never had any issue.

@NollipfSense Yes, I'm sure but perhaps it was something with the hardware as well idk...all I know is that Windows10 and pfSense 2.4.5-RELEASE worked fine.

@techtester-m It's best to refrain from using the word "bug" or at least check here: https://redmine.pfsense.org/ first because if there is indeed one, you most likely won't be the only person.

@NollipfSense Yeah...you're right. I don't know why I used that word so easily. Sorry, my bad.

That means you didn't install pfSense ... next time try the second installer.
