      Hi all,

Quite a big problem i have and I'm looking for a solution.Need to filter emails in/out cz for some reason i get in all blacklists every time.
Setup in the actual location is like this:
WAN 2x ip's (open net one mail traffic) in a cisco ASA -> Switch –> Centos LAMP with postfix/dovecot.
My intention is to install a vm with pfsense and put it between the cisco asa and mail server and install only pfblockerng and some mail scanner/filter pkg
      Any suggestions?
      thx in advance

      pfsense 2.3.4 on Supermicro A1SRi-2758F + 8GB ECC + SSD

      Happy PfSense user :)

Since your using Postfix, you might be interested in this wiki from Zimbra Mail Server (Which I highly recommend) that also uses Postfix:

ps - Why not just use pfSense w/o the ASA :)

This is not a primary spam solution, but it does help.

One thing I do that seems to word very well is:

Install pfBlocker and block everything outside the commercially valuable countries (US and Canada for our company)

Put your mail server inbound rule below these pfBlocker rules.

Create a second MX record and install SpamD

Point the MX record to your pfSense box.

This way, mail outside the commercially valuable countries is subject to SpamD rules.
