Box recommendation needed

Been playing with an old PC for testing but it's time to get s fanless box for fixed setup
Hi I have a new 1Gb home connection
Have a ubiquiti access points so WiFi is sorted.
Have over 30 WiFi home automation devices mostly mqtt switches plus sensors (and growing) 5 PC clients plus freeNAS and Plex
Must be able to VPN into the house and block ads
Would these generic J1900 boxes on AliExpress be up to the job ?

Only hands-on experience could answer that question, as these devices often even do not match their description that came along with it.
Like : "Includes Inttel" NIC's ".
Or : "State of the art power brick (238 V AC only).
Etc etc.They look not very expensive. true. If they are good , pull of the job , are supported, wide user experience, etc ? You tell us ;)
edit : Devices like this come with guarantees- most questions, if not all, are known up front. You're actually close to be able to know what you will have.

Thanks the old PC is running rock solid just getting in the neck over the look. The board is itx
I'm currently thinking of getting a different smaller case and hiding it

In a not so near future the J1900 would prob. not be supported by pfSense , due to the missing AES-NI instructions.
Pick a (64bit) CPU that supports AES-NI
