Multiple Wans to Different Lans one server
-
I am moving away from DDWRT to Pfsense and have gotten most things to work but am stuck on one issue and am helping someone can help or point me in the right direction.
We have 5 static IPs and have used one for pfsense and have created the other four as virtual Ips, we then use 1:1 nat to point them toward local Ips and all seems to be going alright. Where we are stuck is pointing the local ips to our server.
What we want to do is Point our WAN ips to different lan ips and have them all point toward the same server. We are able to do this with one ip using a DHCP lease but this only solves the problem for one ip and we cant get any more than the one to work, I also have to believe there is a better way to do this.
If anyone has any ideas how to do this or can point us in the right direcection or to a thread or tutorial on how this is done that would be great. Thank you for any help you are able to provide.

Ok it is the most common way and many of us are using this construct together with servers inside of a DMZ.

??? In normal you will be set it up likes this;
external IP:Port (public) >> internal IP:Port (internal on the Server)
What we want to do is Point our WAN ips to different lan ips and have them all point toward the same server.
What services is this server offering? More then one, likes FTP, HTTP and others?
Why pointing them all (the IPs) to one Server? Is this a Hyper-visor holding many VMs?We are able to do this with one ip using a DHCP lease but this only solves the problem for one ip and we cant get any more than the one to work, I also have to believe there is a better way to do this.
Perhaps you would be better going with a redirection server likes squid can be.

Its just a simple webserver for our personal sites. We are using the ips for a few different reasons such as ssl certs and so on.
We are just hung up on this one issue. In DDwrt we were able to achieve this via code but it was a pain in the behind so we switched and Pfsense was what was recommended, we were told it is better and easier to use.
Thanks.
