pfSense installed on oDroid H2+ Constantly loses connection

@flipwalker What network cards are in that box - Intel or Realtek? Also, the versions of these I can see are all sold as kits. Maybe the power adapter is wonky?
Has it ever run stable, or is this a new problem?

@akuma1x It has Realtek RTL8125B NICs. I've never had it function properly that I know of. Early in the use, I was changing things so often that restarts were occurring often enough I never had a problem, but as soon as I started trying to use it constantly it wouldn't stay up. I suppose it could be the power supply, but pfSense still seems to be running fine on the box, it just won't communicate to the WAN.

@flipwalker There is a Realtek driver available that might stabilize your system, might be worth a shot. Read about it here:

@akuma1x does that make sense when rebooting the modem corrects the issue? If it was a driver fault wouldn't it require a router reboot to correct? I didn't compile the drivers I'm using a friend did, but I'm assuming(haven't been able to get confirmation from him) that he would have used the most recent drivers available.

@flipwalker Ok then, do you have any extra switching gear you could throw at this project? I'm talking any small 5-8 port ethernet dumb switch. Maybe your ISP modem is flaking out and causing pfsense to bounce the WAN connection.
If you plug a dumb switch in between pfsense WAN port and ISP modem LAN port, this is sometimes able to stabilize the path between the two. Enough so to at least figure out if there's a modem or pfsense box problem.

@akuma1x Okay. I can do this, do I have a spare switch laying around. If I understand you, if putting a switch between the two fixes the problem, then it's most likely a modem problem? Is that correct? What could cause the time issues on the pfSense box?

Is the H2+ the one with the 2.5Gb/s Realtek if's ?
I was asking about the new Odroid H2?? w. the 2.5Gb if's, somewhere here. And was told that that chip wasn't supported.The older Non 2.5Gb (Might be the old H2 , not H2+) should be supported by the Realtek driver mentioned.

The solution to my problems was fixing the clock. Since I fixed that pfSense has remained stable for about 36 hrs now. I found the fix at the oDroid forums, but it's the same fix as the link from @bingo600 !
