Help diagnosing packet loss

As the title says, I'm experiencing packet loss, up to 8% but typically in the 3% range but apparently only on inbound traffic. It also only begins to appear when the speed begins to exceed 200 Mbps.

I'm running 2.5.4 p-1 on a netgate SG-1100

I'm wondering if this is normal? Could it be the device the incoming files are being transfer to isn't able to keep up? Is it an ISP issue? Where do I begin to look for this type of situation?

Are those total values correct? If it's really hitting >600Mbps that's at (or beyond!) the limits of the SG-1100. Some packet loss would not be unexpected.

@Bulfinch I'm having issues with 2.4.5p1 as well. I just posted a topic on this too with my details. Not sure if we are experiencing the same issue or not but thought I'd let you know.

@stephenw10 The numbers are correct as far as I can tell.

After reading your post I want back and looked at the specs for the sg-1100 and see that it advertises 500Mbps when used as a firewall. When I purchased it my speeds were 150/150 and now I'm at a synchronous gigabit so the graphs make more sense. I simply forgot the limitations.

Yeah I think if you're really seeing 600Mbps download there with peaks at 800 that loss is just the hardware limits.
