      Hello

I have some issues with my netgate sg-1100. It indicates that there are is no upgrade of pfSense available and no packages to be downloaded.

This is the version of pfSense that I am running now:

      2.4.4-RELEASE-p3 (arm64)
built on Thu May 16 06:01:19 EDT 2019
      FreeBSD 11.2-RELEASE-p10

      Can someone help me?

      Kind regards,
      Stijn

Ensure you have System/Update, "branch" set to the latest stable 2.4 version, and not Previous. Or, try setting it to Previous and then back to Latest.

Pre-2.7.2/23.09: Only install packages for your version, or risk breaking it. Select your branch in System/Update/Update Settings.
When upgrading, allow 10-15 minutes to restart, or more depending on packages and device speed.

Also, ensure that your pfSense can do DNS resolving for itself.
Connect to the console (SSH), and do a

          ping somewhere.tld

somewhere.tld should be resolved to an IP before it starts counting packets.

          Or

          dig host www.google.com +short

You should see a single line with an IP address.

If these test do not give back a result, then testing for the presence for updates, pfSense or packages, won't work neither. NTP won't work neither. Etc.

edit : Warning : when you found and corrected the issue, and you have pfSense packages installed, will find upgrades.
          Do not upgrade them.
Update pfSense first to the latest available version, that is 2.4.5-p1 right now.
          Only then upgrade packages.
I advise you to 'stop' packages that have services running first.
          Then upgrade pfSense.
          Upgrade the packages.
And fire them up, one by one, after checking possible changes features, settings etc.

No "help me" PM's please. Use the forum, the community will thank you.
Edit : and where are the logs ??
