      Hi,

I am using openDNS on one vlan for content filtering. I would like to force safe search on that vlan too. I can't seem to figure out how to force safe search via domain override on just that vlan. I am using DNS resolver currently. I am a home user with some knowledge so speak slowly ;). Thanks!

I have specified openDNS as the DNS servers for the vlan on the DHCP, I have written firewall rules to block alternate DNS. I would like to also force google.com to forcesafesearch.google.com. I see that I can add domain overrides in DNS resolver but I don't see how I can do that for that individual vlan. I don't want to override google.com on all networks. just the one vlan.

@sean0918 said in Safe search on one vlan?:

            forcesafesearch.google.com

Is this address even working for you?

@Bob-Dig I can ping it. And instructions elsewhere say to use it. But no, not if I attempt it in a regular browser.

@sean0918 pfBlocker has a lot of options for restricting. Maybe you find there what you think you need.

So there's no way to do a domain override on one vlan and not others?
