Still needs an lcdproc driver. It's probably more complex that other displays since it can do full graphics not just characters.
However it also appears to have a much simpler mode since you can just send text at it and it will display something.Steve

Not yet as far as i know. The issue here is that unlike the EZIO-100/300 there are no example drivers or even any specification to use to write anything. At least not publically, that I have found. If you can find anything let us know.
You can send text to it directly and it will display it but there's no formatting etc.

One way forward is to somehow disassemble the device and take detailed high resolution pictures of all the boards in the hope of discovering the controller chip, and go from there. Chances are the controller chip is documented...

Unfortunately not AFAIK. There's very little info available with which to make a driver. It requires more reverse engineering.

Hmm, OK that looks like a completely different screen. How many connections to the board does the LCM cable have? That looks like it might be USB connected, does pfSense see it as a USB device?
Does that screen board sit on top of another board with the buttons on it?
It's probably better to start a new thread on this as it's definitely not the EZIO-G500.

I've a such module at my labs, take from 4400 series.
According to the EZIO-500 few pictures I've seen, it's exactly the same model (event on the metal frame design).I've play around it with an Ardiuno sending EZIO-100 and 300 command without success, I've get some success reading the "Received bytes" when I press keys, but only on high speed (over 115200 bps).
It's seems to not accept any EZIO standard commands, or at least I didn't find the right RS232 config.
Let me know if you need more information.
