Need Votes for Akismet

I did manage to post a thread, but now when I go back to edit it (mainly to put stuff into Code or add any more) it gets flagged as spam (even after waiting the 120 minutes). I read one of the other threads about Akismet and understand the reason for it, it is just annoying when you have been a member since 2007 (starting on the old forum), with 60+ post (I know not a lot for the time period, but it was mainly for troubleshooting issues), and no up votes (which would be something new during the migration).
Can I get some up votes to get past some of the "new user" restrictions for this old account?
