    Proxy services stop unexpectedly

      Hello everyone!

      I have a pfSense installation running with 81 vlans. These 81 vlans are passing through the proxy (squid and squidguard). It turns out that unexpectedly, the squid and squidguard services stop working. But, if I navigate to "Services -> Squid Proxy Server -> Local Cache -> Squid Hard Disk Cache Settings" and click on the "Clear Disk Cache NOW" button, the services will function correctly again for a short period of time.

      Could the community help me identify what is causing proxy services to crash or find a way for the squid cache to be cleared automatically without interrupting proxy services?

        does it make any sense sitting on proxy server with deactivated aes-ni ?
