      Hi there,

For about 10 years we have used i "home made" firewall on stadardhardware running pfsence 2.0-BETA4. Originally build by an colleague.
It has been (and still are) running, but now it's time for 2 changes.

      1. We just ordered the XG-7100-1U
      2. we are changing public IP's (all IP's are routed directly to the servers on the LAN-side using the public IP).

Anyone with some input to this?

      1. Can I export the configuration from the old pfsense and import it to the new one?
      2. Any easy way of changing the IP's on LAN and WAN-side?

      Thanks

      /Jan

        1. theoretically that might work, but lots of packages from back then are not available anymore .... you can try , but there might be issues

        2. you can probably edit the exported config in your favorite editor and find & replace the ip's

I will try that, and see how it goes.

If not, I can do it manually.

          /Jan
