Ok, up until a few weeks ago we had a dual WAN setup working in pfSense. Recently one our lines went down (its an issue with the ISP). The failover is working now but for some reason some sites just no longer work. I've connected into my home PC via VNC and I can access them so the sites aren't down.

The likes of google.com and amazon.co.uk work, but other sites like msn.com, gamespot.com, komplett.ie don't work. I can't log into msn messenger either.

I've checked my NAT and firewall rules and I can't see anything that would be limiting access, I also can't understand why some sites work and others don't?

If anyone has any ideas I'd really appreciate it. If you's want more information to help solve this issue just ask.

Thank you. Turns out it was my MTU size. I guess pfSense was using an MTU of 1500 and my router was using 1492. I set both of them to 1490 and the problem is solved.
