I'm working to get pfSense's IPSEC to work with my MacOS clients. I can connect and route traffic as expected. I can ping the internal network just fine. I validated that I can also do queries/recursive queries against the AD-DNS on remote network. DNS looks ups on the client fail to resolve against the AD-DNS server.

On Mobile Clients I have set DNS Default Domain and DNS servers to the proper values, restarted both the pfsense server and the remote client, and still no resolution.

When I got into the MacOS client and set DNS server and search domain, save, and reconnect, still nothing. It seems to resolve all searches out the default DNS setup on the wired ethernet.

I'm sure someone has solved this in the past but my google skills are failing me on resolving this.

      Any suggestions?
