Network setup help needed.

Hello,
I want to use pfsense as packet filtering i want to install this on a server in a datacenter for test purposes first.
Now i have multiple /24 subnets so 45.x.x.x.x/24 and 46.x.x.x.x/24 for example. All the servers have a static ip out the subnets. Now i want to use a pfsense server how this works? how does me network look 2 uplinks > switch > pfsense server > switch?
I now how it works for internal use (home) but i have no idea how this will work in a datacenter setup. Can someone help me with this? Thanks for the help!
Regard,
Marco -
Are the subnets routed to you or some other scheme where they are actually on the outside interface subnet?

Thanks for the fast answer!
The subnets are external so WAN

Then you don't have the proper provisioning to route the subnets to interfaces behind a router.

It doesn't sound like you are 100% on what it is you have there. I would read that first link in its entirety.
