      Hi all,

I'm experiencing for some time now interruptions, pages loading partly or not loading at all for my machines behind pfSense (Router - pfSense - Switch - LAN2). The connection for machines, which are directly behind the router (Router - LAN1) seem to work without issues.

I thought that issues might be related to some packages I had installed on pfSense, so I uninstalled all of them, but the issues persist.

How can I verify that pfSense is the culprit? Any idea what is causing the issues?
I used ping on the machines, but I didn't notice any interrupt.

        Check the things listed here:
        https://docs.netgate.com/pfsense/en/latest/troubleshooting/website-access-issues.html

Particularly a bad subnet mask or MTU issue can show as partially loading pages.

Check also for IPv6 connectivity. If pfSense is providing v6 to hosts behind it but does not have upstream v6 connectivity itself that can cause all sort of problems for browsing.

@stephenw10 : Thanks and sorry for the late response!

I've removed pfSense also from LAN2 for over week just to be sure. I didn't notice such issues, so it's definitely because of pfSense.

"Check also for IPv6 connectivity. If pfSense is providing v6 to hosts behind it but does not have upstream v6 connectivity itself that can cause all sort of problems for browsing."

The DHCPv6 Server is deactivated. "IPv6 Configuration Type" is set to None.

"Particularly a bad subnet mask or MTU issue can show as partially loading pages."
MTU filed is blank (i.e. 1500 bytes).

I don't know if it's related, but I have deactivated "Block bogon networks".

I'll check the other things if it happens again.

Block bogon networks (on WAN) only affects incoming connections it would not do anything here.

Just to be sure : check the Status > System Logs> System > DNS Resolver page.
What is the time span - from top to bottom ? Hours ? Days ?
Hit Ctrl-F and enter "start" : how many :

info: start of service (unbound 1.10.1).

did you find ? How often is it restarting ?

No "help me" PM's please. Use the forum, the community will thank you.
Edit : and where are the logs ??

@sensori I think your DNS resolver is turned off. Services > DNS resolver Make sure it enable and on the top right corner press Play or Refresh button.
