Does the SG-5100 run v2.5 well?

Really strange that I can't find anything on running v2.5 on a piece of Netgate gear. Searched the Internet, this forum, etc. and nada. I have a SG-5100 and I'm looking for ALTQ shaping support for the ix0-3 interfaces, which 2.5 supposedly has. Does anyone have some input on this? I appreciate any help you can provide. Thanks!

We don't currently offer snapshot images to download and install for the Netgate Factory Edition. But you can go to the updates page and set the branch to look for snapshots and upgrade that way. The snapshots are not current, however, as we are approaching the release and have a bit of internal work left to do over the next few weeks.
That said, you could temporarily run CE snapshots on that hardware if you can get by without the factory-specific parts, and don't mind reinstalling after the release to go back to factory.

I don't think you will ever see someone from netgate give a date other than "when its ready" ;)
While a few normally refers to something around 3.. Could be 5 or more even.. When do you convert from weeks to months ;)
You also never know what might come up..
