Do not flush states when backup WAN goes down
-
hi, i am having issue when my backup internet goes down because it flushes all the states and my phones keeps disconnecting. Is there a way to flush the states ONLY if my primary internet goes down. Thanks

Hi,

Yeah the only option there is 'flush states on gateway failure' and that will flush all states if any gateway goes down.
You can mark the backup gateway as always up. But you won't see if it actually does go down.Steve

@stephenw10 is it better to check mark Disable Gateway Monitoring or Disable Gateway Monitoring Action
-
It's better to disable the action and keep the monitoring so you have data for the state of the interface in my opinion.

@stephenw10 yes i think that is better, that solve the issue but it will be better i think if there is option to select flush states per each gateway. Thanks

I agree that would/will be better. It was not possible to do that in pf when that code was added originally which is why it's like that.
