      I want to change the ip interface via CLI, I installed the drivers needed but it does not show anything. Tried pressing random keys and this happened.

        Hi,

        Check the bitrate on Putty's side, (and stop bits, etc).

        Typically, it should be "115200" - as shown in the image and the doc : https://docs.netgate.com/manuals/pfsense/en/latest/sg-3100-security-gateway-manual.pdf page 23

        You didn't mention what device your have.

        Edit : and where are the logs ??

          It looks like you have ab XG-7100, which also uses 115200bps as the default console speed.
