      Is there a quick and or dirty way to sort Interfaces in GUI
      i just want to see
      WAN_1
      WAN_2
      WAN_3
      LAN
      OPTx

      And not
      WAN_1
      LAN
      WAN_3
      OPT
      WAN_2

      this one isnt working ;)

        The alpha sort should work..

        I don't believe it works on the assignment page - it works on the dashboard interfaces widget.

        The only way I know of ordering the interface pages is the order that you assign them..

            Do not change the internal interface names if you do (wan, lan, opt1, opt2 etc)

            The rules are referenced against that.

              Create two Interface widgets.

              Title the first one WAN and the second LAN.

              Hide the LAN type interfaces from the WAN widget and the WAN type interfaces from the LAN widget.

                That is a good idea actually to break out WAN from being at the end or middle of your widget.. Nice!

                As Steve mentions - I wouldn't go messing about in with xml directly.. Unless you clearly sure to what your doing, and also willing to deal with any issues that might come from messing about ;)
