Does the available 21.02 provoke "Please wait while the update system initializes" ?

I have not yet upgraded my SG-4860 to 21.02. Is that why I can't install packages anymore? I could yesterday but today I get stuck at "Please wait while the update system initializes" and trying to reset yields a question I so far answered no to.

DO NOT install or update packages on older pfSense versions until you change the Update Settings parameter to "Previous Stable Version (2.4.5 deprecated)" on the SYSTEM > UPDATE page.
If you install or update a package from the new 21.02 repository onto your 2.4.5 pfSense, you will likely break it due to changed library versions and dependencies.

@bmeeks thanks! (I guess I should have been able to figure that out)
