My SG-1100 is constantly restarting.
I have tried it:At the console press any key to interrupt the boot loader when you see:
Hit [Enter] to boot immediately, or any other key for command prompt.
At the prompt enter: boot -sbut at it doesn't want of my command:
Marvell>> boot -s boot - boot default, i.e., run 'bootcmd'

Looks like a Problem with the System. Have you try to reinstall with the recovery Image?
If you don't have one, go to https://go.netgate.com create a Ticket and you got a download link fast.

marvell command line seems to work fine, but it doesn't understand -s option. that has it changed?

You're interrupting the boot process too early to run 'boot -s'.Hit any key to stop autoboot:
brings you to the Marvell prompt which is where you would reinstall the firmware if required.
You need to wait later into the boot process to see:
Hit [Enter] to boot immediately, or any other key for command prompt.
In the latest version pfSense+ 21.02 on the SG-1100 it looks like you can now enter single user mode at the pfSense loader menu. I'm not sure if this option was there previously:

It wasn't, that's new in 21.02. Previously you had to escape to the loader prompt and manually boot into single user mode.
