Because 2.5.0 is full of bugs and IPv6 is not usable anymore I need to downgrade. But how?

I hope you backed up your configuration before installing 2.5.0? In this case, just install 2.4.5 and restore config.xml.

@nrw Of course I did. I would like to do this remote. Is there no easy way?

No it's not easy as it requires downgrading FreeBSD.

re: IPv6 see https://forum.netgate.com/topic/160952/ipv6-no-gateway-after-2-5-upgrade/17 for a possible workaround.

Pre-2.7.2/23.09: Only install packages for your version, or risk breaking it. Select your branch in System/Update/Update Settings.
When upgrading, allow 10-15 minutes to restart, or more depending on packages and device speed.
