Is it possible to upgrade from console with a URL for 2.6.0? It's been a while since I have used menu option 13, but I remember older versions having the ability to specify a URL. 2.5.0 does not appear to have that capability. Menu option 13 only checks for 2.5.0 package updates then returns to the menu.

I would like to install 2.6.0 so that I can use a USB Ethernet adapter again. My installation prior to 2.5.0 was using a USB Ethernet adapter but for some reason USB Ethernet is missing in 2.5.0 .

I need to upgrade from console because my 2.5.0 only has one working interface now and it is connected to WAN. I cannot get a GUI session to my pfSense machine without USB Ethernet.

You can go into the GUI and set the update branch to 2.6.0 snapshots, then use the console to actually run the upgrade.
