Internally, I can stream original on wired or wireless over 140mbit no problem, all original files, no transcoding (house is 10Gbit everything wireless is enterprise with a controller)

PFsense server has 8 cores and 8gb ram assign, upload is 2.5Gbit and download is 2.5Gbit, if someone plays a stream, 20Mbit no problem, anything above and they just buffer, this is "direct stream", server is not the issue, something to do with the PF box. Tested Intel and Broadcom, same, testing with a Cisco ASA, no issues, tested with a 4451 series router, no issues, testing with opnsense, no issues (pfsense just overall fits what I want it to do). So, ideas? Noticed a lot of TCP Out of Orders when they start buffering or crashing

@techanalyst Try and disable Hardware NIC offload in advanced settings. Some NIC drivers causes a lot of issues like that with offload enabled.

Love the no fuss of using the official appliances :-)

@keyser Done on Server and done of Pfsense. All my internal buffering issues were resolved with this "Set-NetTCPSetting -SettingName "Datacenter" -MinRtoMs 300" wired or wireless, clean, direct play files, no issues, so server to switches and devices, again, wireless controller is a vm on the same vds as the pfsense server and no issues (LG TVs playing 144mbit streams, no buffering direct play)

I removed pfsense, tested with an ASA firewall, tested with a 4451, issues are gone (I need my IPTV to work for I'm kinda stuck with PFSense and opnsense but opnsense has its issues)

There something weird about uploading to people, the pfsence just seems to crap the bed on it.

To add, 30-40 Streams at 20Mbit each, zero issues.......trancoding, the second a direct play hits and its bitrate is over 20Mbit, buffering like an idiot and only with a pfsence firewall.
