      Guys,

      I'm at a loss.

I'm getting ICMPv6 Router Advertisements on my LAN from the pfSense LAN Interface, even though I've

      • gone to system -> advanced -> network and disabled IPv6

      • set a firewall rule on LAN to block all IPv6 and a second for specifically blocking ICMPv6

      • set IPv6 config type to none, my LAN interface has an IPv6 address

I'm not sure what else to do at this point to shut off IPv6 stuff, other than going into the actual OS and making changes, which I've been told not to do.

      Any help would be awesome!

      Thanks.

          Seems to be a bug…
Go into Interfaces -> LAN, set IPv6 Configuration Type to SLAAC, Apply Changes
          Wait a minute
set IPv6 Configuration Type to None, Apply Changes.
          That should stop it.

There was an edge case there that we fixed in 2.3. Doing what awebster suggested, or just rebooting after setting the interfaces to "none" for IPv6, should suffice.
