I'm trying to verify that clients on my private LAN are properly NTP syncing with the NTP server on the pfSense. Below is example output from a macOS client console:

      bash-5.0# sntp -sS pool.ntp.org
      +2.009353 +/- 0.001099 pool.ntp.org 79.143.250.119
      bash-5.0# sntp -sS 172.16.1.1
sntp: Exchange failed: Kiss of death
      sntp: Exchange failed: Timeout
      sntp: Exchange failed: Timeout
      sntp: Exchange failed: Timeout
      +1.982596 +/- 0.041656 172.16.1.1 172.16.1.1
      bash-5.0#

NTP Service on the pfSense appears fine:

Could be not sync'd yet, could be a rate limiting thing... If you capture the KOD packet - it should include a hint to why..
