2.4.5_1 to 21.02_1 Not Working - SG-2440

I guess this is why? When I run pkg this is what I get?:

I have done a few things:

Rebooted over and over
pkg-static install -f pkg pfsense-upgrade while back on 2.4.5_1
pkg-static clean -ay; pkg-static install -fy pkg pfSense-repo pfSense-upgrade while back on 2.45_1

As soon as I switch over to 21.02.x, and upgrade, it upgrades my pkg/whatever (during console option 13), and I am back to square one. It just sits there.

I was tempted to make sure I was on the right branch, and just do:

pkg-static upgrade

What say you?

I can get pkg working again, by following those directions, but as soon as I try to upgrade to pfSense plus, it upgrades pkg, and I am stuck again back to pkg not working.

I think by the time it hits pkg, It is over.

Make a backup and submit a ticket, ask for a clean installation image.
I think that will be the solution.

@daddygo I was trying to avoid that, but it seems the case. The SG-2440 needs replaced I think anyways.

It is a remote box.

I just can't understand how I can downgrade the entire system, reinstall all packages, then do the upgrade again, by switch the release to the new stuff....

And then still have a problem.

You won't need it with the new stuff....
Cross your fingers and hope for the best

You hope,.... you can implement your entire configuration from config -......... anything.xml
