I'll soon be converting a PC based pfSense firewall/router to an SG-1100 appliance. I have a large, relatively complex configuration (backed up) that I'd prefer not to rebuild from scratch. I'm concerned about restoring the existing backed up configuration to the SG-1100, thinking that the it may not be compatible.

Any issues, tips, etc. that I need to be aware of?

@jcyr Understanding how the switch ports work and are named on the SG-1100 can take a bit of getting used to. I'm not sure how well it well import the old network interface and VLAN information without a bit of manual tweaking of the config file.

If there are problems Netgate support will help with importing an old config into one of their devices. No support contract needed.
