Confusion on driver for Nic

Hey,
After installing pfsense 2.5 my internet keeps dropping (dpinger drops the connections for some odd reason the 2.4.5 did not do) After trying to find a solution I came around that my intel gigabit ET card uses IGB driver and there are some bugs in?!?! I read about the intel i350-T4 cards where the way to go.
On the freebsd site is written that the i350 should use the EM driver. After buying and installing this I350 card (DELL 09YD6K bought from used server vendor) I get the IGB driver again. Is there a way to force this card to load with the EM driver?

Nope.
But from your description of the problem I'm not sure it's a driver issue at all. Is it actually dropping the link or just dpinger restarting?
