          the point here is that you get network interfaces (vNICs, HBAs, etc.) without SR-IOV, I don't think FreeBSD can do that... (in the present moment)

          VMWare knows this, but I need is on bare metal with pfSense

            I assume it would require a driver or some sort like vmxnet. You have a link describing this?

              Doesn't looks like that supports FreeBSD at all. No drivers. For example:
