FYI there seems to be an issue uncompressing pfSense-CE-2.5.0-RELEASE-amd64.iso.gz on a Mac, I'm getting:-

If I transfer the file to a VM running W10, 7Zip uncompresses the file fine.

@heper You just double click the file, it recognises it as a compressed file.

It worked fine when I've downloaded previous versions to try stuff in VMware.

gunzip does work from a terminal.

@nogbadthebad so a bug in the apple gui thingy that pipes it to the wrong utility to decompress?

@heper maybe, I'm sure previously that I just clicked on the file in finder and it uncompressed.

Maybe the previous files wern't .gz files.

No issues on latest Ventura developer beta.

If you are still having issues, Stuffit Expander is available from the Mac App Store
