Any Estimate as to when 2.5.1 is coming out?
-
@guardian JimP said just today that it's days/weeks away. That's about as good as you're going to get. Just wait and stay at 2.4.5.

Soon.
Still a couple kinks to work out and lots of testing to do.
-
@guardian Always good to keep an eye on:
-
@jimp PLEASE NOTE - NOT INTENDED AS CRITICISM OR PRESSURE IN ANY WAY! I am very grateful an highly appreciative of all the work you guys do on pfSense and allow the community to freely use.
Looking at this:
https://redmine.pfsense.org/projects/pfsense/roadmap
that looks to me like about a month to be conservative (or am I too pessimistic)? -

that looks to me like about a month to be conservative (or am I too pessimistic)? As a person who reviews this redmine quite frequently, I can share that it has been accumulating more slowly for the past two weeks, and the numbers of completed items have begin to increase, and that things often progress quickly from this state. I would estimate between 2-4 weeks; your reaction seems spot-on!

All the "open" issues on that link are solved and waiting on feedback to confirm they are solved. That won't take anywhere near a month.
There are a couple of administrivia things still ongoing, like to update the docs after release, blog post, etc. but those are not bugs to solve and do not take much time.
It's primarily a matter of testing now, and dealing with whatever we find in that testing.

Thanks @jimp I really appreciate your time to give us an update.

Today was the first day it seems 2.5.1 RC didn't receive a daily update? Could it be the "Release" isn't too far behind?
