      Hi Folks,

      Having a real devil of a time here, I'm trying to install pfsense in a disconnected environment with no internet, and of course the package installer fails. Is there a way to manually import or install vm tools (open tools) manually? I can't seem to find any straightforward way of doing this.

      Thanks,

        @ringo598

        for 2.5.0

        for 2.5.1 (they are the same ... )
        http://files00.netgate.com/pfSense_v2_5_1_amd64-pfSense_v2_5_1/All/open-vm-tools-nox11-11.2.0_2%2C2.txz

        download , cp it inside pfsense and from console:
        pkg add ./package.txz

          Forgive my new-ness. Do I bring both files in and then install one after another? Or just either one? I'm using 2.5.1 but from your comments that won't matter.

          Thank you so much for your help!

              Thank you so much, I don't know why I had such difficulty figuring this out. Thanks again!
