      Hello!

When creating a support ticket, I used to browse to go.netgate.com and login. Now, I get shuffled off to myfreshworks.com. Is this correct, or has the site been hijacked?

@serbus I get the same thing - but am not alarmed. Freshworks is a CRM provider and so it would appear that Netgate has decided to utilize their service for that type of function. Seems 100% legit to me.

          Hello!

I have never heard of them. Hard to know if I can trust them to handle sensitive info related to the security devices for me and my customers. I also have to accept their privacy and terms...

No idea what you are seeing but go.netgate.com takes me to https://go.netgate.com/support/home which is the Netgate Service Desk Portal page.

@kom yes that works fine if you just go to the site. Now try to view a ticket or log in.

@gabacho4 I see. Well, I agree with you completely that this is harmless and no different from companies who build their CRM platform on top of Salesforce or Zoho.

@kom 100% agree. I'd be surprised if Netgate ran the previous support portal on their own hardware/software, etc.

Just to be clear here we have always used Freshworks/Freshservice for the go. support portal.

An update to their service removed much of the customisation we had done changing the login page back to the default for a time. Nothing changed on the backend though, it's still the same ticket system.
