      Hi there.

When I run Apply changes to IPSEC setup every time I received "504 Gateway Time-out nginx".

I have 50 ipsec tunnels running and would like to manage them and mobile clients also. Every time I change something to IPSEC tunnels (site-to-site or mobile) I received error page "504 Gateway Time-out
nginx". It also takes 4 minutes to show this error after Apply changes. In order to really Apply changes I need to take action two times, which takes apx 8 minutes.

These procedures which need to be taken in order to change something to IPSEC are time consuming.

Could you help me to solve this issue?
      Thank you.

      Richard

You are almost certainly hitting this:
        https://redmine.pfsense.org/issues/11795

That is fixed in current 21.05-RC snapshots, if you can test one, and will be in 21.05 when it's released 'real soon now'.

@stephenw10 Yes, as I started that feed in March (https://forum.netgate.com/topic/162168/ipsec-apply-changes-time-out) but I bought XG-7100 thinking it was only CE issue.

Thank you for info. Is there a patch for that issue or should I wait for an update?

There isn't a single patch but the three commits listed there are all in run-time files. You should be able to apply them via the patches package.
