      Hello,
      I want to control the access to port 80, 443, 143 and 993
      to devices in the approved mac-id list. is it possible in Pfsense 2.5.x ?

        @shaw22 No you can’t, pfSense rules are based on IP addresses not mac-addresses.

          Well in an off handed sort of way yes you can ;)

          Just assign mac address abc IP address 192.168.1.100 for example, and mac address xyz 192.168.1.101 via dhcp reservations, and then only allow .100 and .101 to access those ports.
