After update last night via the web interface - following the proposal for update appearing in the web interface - the appliance seems to be stuck in some process and the USB console prompts for a standard unix BSD login.

the admin user/password credentials are denied on the USB I/F

and no connection possible via the two network interfaces

would some one have had this behaviour or have a way to solve this case ?

I thank you for any feedback

        The Amnesiac prompt?

It shows that if it can't load any config. You can usually login there with root/(existing admin password) but if depends on what is damaged and how much.

If you have a backup config then re-installing clean and restoring it will be the fastest way to get going again.
Open a ticket with us to get the restore image if you have not already: https://go.netgate.com/
