      I am setting up a server that I want to have it's own static ip address. I have a pfsense with 1 more open opt port. I know how to set up the WAN, I just do not know how to make that WAN pass through to the server. Any help is appreciated.

        Are you aware of this bug?

        If you're running pfSense CE 2.5.1 that will not work.

          @viragomann unfortunatly I am on 2.5.1 too. Well is there a way to achieve this when it is working properly? I am in no hurry for this.

            To not get you wrong, are you talking about two WAN connection with different gateways or a second WAN IP on a single connection?

              @viragomann It will be a completely different wan with a different gateway. I would be using this WAN for only my server. I want the server to have an external IP address.

                  @viragomann well....no. I was hoping to pass the wan to the server through the pfsense and be able to use the pfsense to open the ports I want opened. For instance, I have 2 servers here that are accessed from offsite. Both need port 80. I was able to make the first software connect on port 90 with a redirect to port 80. The second software does not allow me to change the port number so I have to use 80. This new server and software also will not allow me to change the port number so I can not do a redirect with it either. I need port 80 to go to 2 different servers on the same pfsense. If I can not do it with a wan passthrough to the new server, I will have to buy another pfsense.
                  I didnt not know if this is possible or not.

                    So your goal is a simply port forwarding from two different IPs to two different servers.

                    Yes, of course, that is possible. However, this part want work on the actual 2.5.1. But you can upgrade to 2.5.2 RC where the bug is fixed already. You can do this by switching the branch in System > Update > System Update.

                    Then you have simpy to configure a NAT 1:1 for the server on the second WAN.

                    This would also be possible when you bridge the WAN2 to the servers internal interface. This way you can assign the real WAN to the server. "I want the server to have an external IP address." let me think, that's your intention.
                    But I'd not recommend this as long as there are not special reasons to do that.

                      @viragomann Thanks. Do you know of any issues with 2.5.2 RC since it is not a stable release?
