As for now users feedbacks on BSD 13 are great. When we may able to see the 13 in DEV version (at last) of pfSense ?

@sergei_shablovsky I believe it will make it to pfSense 2.6 ... of course. I am abundantly optimistic.

So... now are Summer of 2022! And no any 13-STABLE in pfSense!!! Really sad!

May be afraid that support of ae, bfe, bm, cs, dme, ed, ep, ex, fe, pcn, rl, sf, smc, sn, ste, tl, tx, txp, vx, wb and xe would be removed ? (Not removed support for: dc, ffec, fxpl, hme, le, sis, vr and xl) :)

Anyway much of all pfSense CE users using DEV version. And each time this pesky alert “Use on You own risk!”. ;)

Ok, NetGate we already take the risk, You have no such obligation or responsibilities about this, so do not hesitate and bring us FreeBSD 13-based CE version !

Switching major base versions like that is not an insignificant task! But plans are well underway....

I agree with Sergei, I hope we see pfs on freebsd 13 soon. I use frontier fiber and freebsd 13 resolves the issue of the wan interface not being able to grab an ip from dhcp because frontier and all the other telco's tag their transmission with vlan 0.
