    Wan full duplex cannot get over 200 mbps

      I have a connection on my bell of 1000 mbps

      tested the wire untill the pfsense and it bottles down to 200 mbps

      this is the sg 1100

      Any help appreciated

        Per the specs (bottom of that page) that's not far off from expected.

        Firewall
        (10k ACLs)
        IPERF3 Traffic: 656 Mbps
        IMIX Traffic: 190 Mbps

        The old version of that page had some footnotes that explained the benchmarking but instead see this post.

        Pre-2.7.2/23.09: Only install packages for your version, or risk breaking it. Select your branch in System/Update/Update Settings.
        When upgrading, allow 10-15 minutes to restart, or more depending on packages and device speed.

            I would expect to see something closer to 400Mbps in a test again speedtest.net, which is all large packets. It won't ever pass Gigagbit though.

              @stephenw10 well. The point is I have a old desktop serving me as server and virtual gets me a better throughput. It's a shame... I thought the sg1100 would get me a gig
